The world has adapted to the new challenge in its own way by making full use of the online mode of communication and data sharing. The same is now true for the healthcare sector. Not having a digital health identification card in today’s times might cause a lot of inconvenience for you. This digital era has surely made lives easier and helped many people in these challenging times. Many facilities were made available even by the government of India to provide for its citizens.

One such facility was the ABHA card and Ayushman Bharat initiative that was launched in September 2021. This initiative was primarily created to make healthcare more accessible for all sectors of the population in India. Any person who registers on this card will be able to store all their medical and health-related documents online. This facility is a huge boon as you can now share all your health details with concerned individuals online.

Steps to register online

One advantage associated with this health ID is that the registration process is online. It makes it easy to apply for it even if you are sitting in your office and have nothing to do for a couple of minutes. You will not need to submit any physical documents or stand in long lines or go from one government office to another to create this ID.

Steps to register for the card

You will receive an OTP, and once you add that, the next steps are fairly simple – all you will need to do is add your personal information.
